Continuous learning can improve your higher cognitive capabilities such as attention, memory, problem solving and decision making all of which are critical to being at our best. When you combine learning with good nutrition and productive sleep your mind will perform at its peak. Learning is essential to our existence. Just like food nourishes our bodies, information and continued learning nourishes our minds.
Continuous learning is the ongoing development of yourself. It is all about change, and change drives learning. The two go hand in hand. Change creates opportunities and imposes demands. It raises questions about our readiness to take advantage of opportunities and face the demands of achieving our goals. Learning creates new capabilities and new and unexpected opportunities. When we are thrust into new situations that are unfamiliar and uncomfortable we learn new behaviors and skills that lead to transformational changes in all domains of our lives.
